Sometimes the oppression we feel when the enemy is at work is enough to paralyze us in fear. We can barely face our struggles and strongholds because they seem too overwhelming. The reality of our current situation is more than we can handle in our human strength. In those moments, we must move forward, believing that God will make a way.
The Israelites had escaped from Egypt and thought they were home free when all of a sudden their enemy was closing in behind them and a vast sea was standing before them. Things did not look good. There was no way out. Humanly speaking, they were stuck!
The Lord said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to me? Tell the people to get moving!” – Exodus 14:15 NLT
But God had a plan. He had gotten them out of Egypt by His mighty hand, and He would deliver them from this situation in the same way. But they couldn’t stay frozen in fear. They had to boldly move forward and trust God with the outcome.
It’s time to get moving!
If you’re faced with a situation that seems impossible from a human perspective, stop looking at it from a human perspective. If you’ve surrendered your life to Jesus, the power of God will work in you and through you to accomplish His good purposes.
God will give you the courage and strength to overcome your struggles and strongholds, but you can’t stay frozen in fear. You must trust Him and move forward in faith, one step at a time. God will protect you from the enemy behind you and He will part the sea that stands in front of you.
The Red Sea deliverance was miraculous and powerful. When there was nowhere for the Israelites to go and they were convinced they were stuck, God parted the sea for them. When they looked back their enemy was nowhere to be found.
God’s faithfulness is a guarantee! No matter what we find ourselves up against, God is there. Keep moving forward, following and trusting Him. He will make a way.
