My name is Erika Owens. I’m a wife, mom, and grandma, and I live with my husband, James, in a suburb of the Twin Cities, Minnesota. The joy of my life is spending time with our three grown sons, bonus daughters, and grandbabies.

I’ve always loved journaling! There is something about writing things down that helps imprint God’s truths on my heart. What began as sharing snippets from my daily devotions on social media soon became a space where others were encouraged and God was glorified. That’s how Mom’s Devotions was born.

In addition to sharing on social media and my blog, I’ve been blessed to work on a few book projects—one I self-published, one I contributed to, and one coming soon. Writing has been a meaningful part of my journey, and each project reflects a season of growth, reflection, and purpose. My hope is that through these works, readers are encouraged, inspired, and reminded of God’s faithfulness.
