You seem to have made it your mission to convince the world that whatever they believe (or don’t believe) is okay. That we’re all going to be just fine no matter what. That there are “many ways” to God. I was wondering who’s work you think your doing. Do you think when God blessed you with the opportunity to reach millions that this was the message he wanted you to proclaim?
I once read that you went to church as a young girl and were good at reciting Bible verses and you repeatedly claim to be Christian, but you seem to miss the most foundational message of the Christian faith – the gospel! Do you remember the story of how Jesus was tortured, mocked, spit at? Do you remember that he was nailed to a cross and hoisted up to hang and die an agonizing death? Don’t you remember why he did that? Don’t you remember that he did that for you? For me? That he did that to pay the only sufficient price for our sins? If it were true that there are “many ways” to God – then please explain why in the world Jesus had to suffer and die?!?
And do you remember that he rose from the dead? Conquering death and sealing the victory for all of us that choose to give our life to him. Remember that he said he was going to prepare a place for those that believe in him and that one day he would return for us? For those of us that choose to rely on his atoning death as our only means of salvation?
Does any of this ring a bell? Did you ever believe it? Doesn’t the fact that you are now making it your mission to convince millions that they don’t need Jesus scare you? Even just a little? When was the last time you read the Bible?
Jesus saith unto him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”- John 14:6 KJV
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. – Ephesians 2:2, 8-9 KJV
“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.” – Matthew 7:13-15 NIV
Are you really that sure that you’re right? Think long and hard about it. If I’m wrong about Jesus then we both have nothing to lose. But if you’re wrong then you have eternity to lose!
